Ways to be more happy
We’ve all got one of those friends that always seems… well happy. You know the one always with a smile on their dial, they might have trying times and things thrown their way in life, but they seem to roll with it and get on with living in a happy and positive way.

You might think that being the happy one is an unachievable goal for you, but you can do small things each and every day to be a happier person.

And now more than ever, happiness is what the world needs right now.

Here are our tips to increase your happiness vibe:

Just be more happy!

It sounds like it's too easy to be true but deciding to be happier daily and waking up with a positive mood can help you mentally shift. Wake up and think or write down five things you are grateful for. And do so at the end of the day as well.

Happiness is a choice that we can make every day.

Get out in the sunshine and exercise

Both exercise and vitamin D are sure to put you in a good mood. Self-care is about setting discipline to keep your body healthy and happy. Plan to exercise daily and get out in the sunshine, it is going to put you in a good mood.

Enjoy that sunshine, do an exercise routine that makes you smile and enjoy moving your body.

Smile

The simple art of smiling can help you boost your mood and make you feel happier.

You might not feel like smiling, and it might feel unnatural at first to force a smile, but putting a smile on your face is scientifically proven to put you in a better mood. And it will make others around you smile too.

Move Closer to Work: A Short Commute is Worth More Than a Big House

If your job still requires you to be in the office or workplace daily and you have a long commute to work, working that little bit closer to home can have a massive benefit on your happiness and giving you the gift of more time.

More time to do the things you want to do at home like; have breakfast with the kids in the morning or more relaxation time at home at night.

Create balance and overcome burnout

How are you supposed to have the energy to be happier if you’re stressed, exhausted, and miserable from work?
It will be hard. Building new skills, skills that will help you be happier, will take time and energy.

Try and carve out more balance in your day to day world and put happiness as a skill building priority.
